To apply for a scholarship or award at URBE University, students must first review the specific scholarship or award requirements to determine their eligibility and interest. If they decide to apply, they must complete the official scholarship/award application form by providing all requested information and thoughtfully answering the required essay question. Once the completed application is submitted, the URBE Scholarship Review Committee will carefully evaluate it. Students who are approved will receive an email notification detailing their award status, including the percentage of the scholarship granted. URBE University offers the following scholarships/awards to all prospective and current students that may qualify:
Athletic Award
This merit award supports student-athletes wishing to continue their education by enrolling in one of the university’s programs. and create a positive change in their future. This award is designed to help students who want to pursue a higher education degree while representing the university as an athlete. Please contact the university to learn more about this award.
Students wishing to apply must comply with the following requirements:
- Satisfy all admission requirements for acceptance to one of the Associates or Bachelors Degree at URBE University
- Present at time of enrollment an official high school or higher transcripts
- Submit the scholarship application with a completed essay.
- While enrolled at URBE University, maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA throughout the entire program.
- Satisfy all admission requirements for acceptance to one of the Master Programs at URBE University
- Present at time of enrollment an official bachelor’s degree transcript with a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA.
- Submit the scholarship application with a completed essay.
- While enrolled at URBE University, maintain a minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA throughout the entire program.
- Satisfy all admission requirements for acceptance to one of the Bachelor Programs at URBE University
- Submit the scholarship application with a completed essay.
- While enrolled at URBE University, maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA throughout the entire program.
- Must satisfy all international student admission requirements for acceptance to the Master Programs at URBE University
- Submit the scholarship application with response to essay question (Please speak with admissions for essay requirements)
- Must satisfy all international student admission requirements for acceptance to the Bachelor Programs at URBE University
- Submit the scholarship application with response to essay question (Please speak with admissions for essay requirements)
- Oversee the process for the awarding of academic scholarships at the University.
- Reviewing applicants and selecting the recipients of academic scholarships.
- Hear appeals concerning the withdrawal of scholarships.
The Dr. Oscar Belloso Medina Merit Award
This merit award supports students wishing to continue their education by enrolling in one of the university’s master programs, with the purpose to further their career, and create a positive change in their future. This is an undergraduate scholarship for students wishing to further their education and create a better future for themselves and their families by enrolling to one of URBE University bachelor programs with the purpose to further their career and create a positive change in their future.
